Do we need all the "anti terrorism laws" we have now?

No - too many of the new "powers" are being abused. Far too many "officials" now have the power to demand entrance to your home and almost ANYTHING is "allowed" under the label "Anti Terrorism".

Some laws are needed - but nowhere near what we have. We need some protection but the level of intrusion is far too high. In the 1980s, we were being bombed by the IRA and aircraft were being hijacked every week - but we did not need council officials spying on our every move.

Yes - sacrificing some freedoms are worth it for safety Our safety is paramount and the government and security services need more powers to protect us.
