What Kind Of Military Wife Are You?

You introduce yourself and invite her to coffee so you can obtain information about her and her family. You introduce yourself and then slide in the fact that your husband runs his command. You say "hello" and ask if she feels settled yet. Afterall, you know how hard it is to move around. Say nothing at all. You hate this place...Its a horrible duty station.

cry every night and wish he'd never joined the stupid military. immediately sign up as ombudsman so you can be in charge of all the wives. You start up a playgroup with the local wifey's so you can stay up to date with whats going on in everyones lives. take on single parenthood with strength and poise...someone has to fight the battle on the homefront, right?

inform them that you are ombudsman and can't socialize with just anyone! You accept the invitation and scope out the scene when you arrive. It was nice of them to invite you :) You jump at the chance...they might have some juicy stories about the new girl think they are just inviting you out of pity...you turn them down immediately.

Can't attend...you're on the phone with a neighbor who is telling you the new scoop about someone's affair. don't go. Its way too embarassing to be seen there. You go, but only because there's free food involved. You totally go. Socialization, fun for the kids, and FREE food...heck yeah, I'll be there!
