Which Crochet Stitch Are You?

Organize the event, get everyone volunteered and assigned. Stay up all night making the decorations and cooking food to sell. You are on everyone's team. You mediate controversy and make sure everyone gets along and has a good time. You are the Founder's Day Queen/King. You are in the parade, lead the band, kiss the babies and hug the grannies. You are the go-to person. If something is needed, you take the call and complete the tasks. You won't sleep until it is over. You do the PR, contact the newspaper, Volunteer for specific part, then unplug your phone and sleep well the night before. You make sure the bathrooms have paper, the trash cans are emptied and the trash is cleaned up after the event.

All of your friends call you wanting a ride to the grocery store, wanting to borrow flash lights, bread, sugar and toilet paper. You spend the afternoon driving around making sure they have what they need. You call all of your friends and let them know it is coming. You come out first thing the next morning with your snow-blower, make sure everyone can get to the street, salt their steps and call the city to let them know your street needs attention. You give your pre-packed blizzard preparation of flashlight, batteries, bread and TP to the first 8 people who call. After that you turn off the phone open the windows and watch the snow fall. You go to the movies and come out and realize there has been a blizzard. You call a tow truck, and get a ride to a friend's house cause you KNOW you are not prepared at home for this mess. Of course your friend is glad to have you. You have a check list already prepared. You e-mail it to all of your friends and make sure they have everything on the list. You make several stops by your closest friends. Find out that they have what they need, stop by and get a bottle of wine and head for home.

Place them side by side and watch who takes your and who takes HERS. You are mortified. You just want everyone to get along. You talk to her about it and make sure she doesn't have a problem with it before you put yours out. You knew she was bringing hers, that is why you brought the same. You used the same recipe. More economic for both of you. You know this does not apply to you, you bring the paper plates and cups. The pretty ones with the flowers on them. You made a LOT more, so you keep yours in the back until hers is gone then you put yours out. You made a small bowl of everything so it does not surprise you. If you bring enough no one will notice. Then you clean up the mess after so no one else has to. You set your dish next to the other and don't worry about it, the more the merrier.

Call all of your friends and see what they are doing for the Summer. Go shopping for a new bathing suit. You are busy watching kids, mowing lawns, weeding gardens and running errands. You wouldn't have it any other way. You call everyone to get the latest gossip, it is good to be in the KNOW when the weather gets HOT. You clean out everyone's gutters, make sure the street drain is cleared, trim all the hedges, and change all of the light bulbs. You plan to plant a garden, make jellies, can some vegetables and baby sit the neighbor's kids. You plant 3 tomato plants, 1 jalapeno plant, and 2 rows of onions. Your plan is to make enough Salsa to give for Christmas and win the state fair competition this year!

Feel like you are running a fever, take a blanket and pillow out to the couch and call a friend so they can come take care of you. Pass out alcohol gels, masks and cans of soup, make sure everyone's trash is at the curb on trash day. You don't have time to get sick. Everyone calls you to run errands, bring soup, drop by and get medicines. You find yourself trying to organize care plans. Get the well to take care of the sick, organize flu shot clinics. You invite two of your sickest friends to your house so all of you can be sick together. You rent movies and everyone sits around eating soup watching old movies till they feel better. You tried to tell everyone to get their shots, now you will just have to take care of them. Your van holds 5 adults plus you. You take that many to the dr., by the pharmacy, to the grocery store. Then you go home, unplug your phone and wait for everyone to get well.
