If your friend was drunk, what you you do?

Cut them off from the drinks. You are concerned for your friend but you don't want them to miss out on the rest of the party. You make sure that they don't have any more drinks.

Drive them home. You are worried about your friend but at the same time you want to have a good time and not have to babysit them. So you drive them home and return to the party.

Take advantage of them. You know that your friend's decision making abilities are compromised, so you take advantage of it. (lying about them owing you money, tricking them into telling you things, tricking them into "doing things", etc.)
