Are You A Narcissistic Person

You get mad or you are humiliated. You rip the person apart. After all don't they know they are hurting you. You think about the criticism and understand their point of view. Though you may not agree you don't become mad or hurt.

You are just as interested in the new person and try to make them feel welcome. You are upset and try to chime in. You get upset. Why did they have to bring that person to hang out?

You cancel your plans and meet with them and listen offering words of comfort. You cancel your shopping trip and meet with them. As they are telling you what is going on you interupt them telling them how much harder your life is than theirs. You tell them you can't you already had plans. Surely they can wait until tomorrow. You really want to get that outfit and they maybe sold out tomorrow.

You are completely honest about your project. You are confident that the finished product shows your knowledge and hard work. You don't feel the need to convence others. You embellish your acheivement hoping to gain respect from others. You tell others of your acheivement embellishing it. After all they don't know just how hard you worked on it.

You deserve the promotion more than the coworker so you gossip about what the coworker told you hoping that they will look bad on the coworker and pick you and not the other person. You keep what the coworker told you in confidence. Feeling management will pick who they believe will best fill the position. And you will keep your self respect intact. You tell everyone about something simular happening to you as the coworker, but making yourself out to be the victim in hopes they will feel bad for you and give you the promotion.
