Metal Metal is a style of music where there are awesome guitar solos that last for about a minute. The singers sing loudly and scream. There are many different types of metal. In some other types, the singers dont scream. Here are a few examples of metal bands, Metallica, Dethklok, Megadeth, Hatesphere, Mantic Ritual, Dragonforce, Iron Maiden, and Slayer.

Rap Rap is a music style that is pretty popular these days. Rap groups are usually one or two people. There is usually DJ in rap. In rap the singer talks more than sings and says his name a lot. Here is some lyrics to show you what i mean when i say that the singer says his name a lot, "Soulja Boy up in dis hole, watch me crank dat watch me roll, watch me crank dat soulja boy supaman dis hole." see what i mean? To me rap is a different style of music, that doesn't mean i hate it.
