First appearing in a Cyon commercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Telecom, their debut single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009 and on May 17 the song premiered on SBS's Inkigayo. The group's name 2NE1 stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century"/"21c New Evolution".[3] The groups members are Lee Chae Rin (Hangul: 이채린), Park Bom (Hangul: 박봄), Sandara Park (Hangul: 박산다라) and Gong Minji (Hangul: 공민지).

The members of the group have had various activities as solo entertainers — acting in dramas and musicals, hosting various reality, variety, children's or game shows, modeling, endorsing brands and releasing solo singles.

T-ara T-ara (Korean: 티아라; Korean pronunciation: [tʰiara]) is a South Korean girl group formed by Mnet Media in 2009. Before their debut, there was a high level of interest in the group as they were called "Super Rookies" and had been training for three years prior to debut.[1] Originally a five member group, they released their first song "Good Person" for the Cinderella Man OST in April 2009. In June 2009 members Jiwon and Jiae left the group, ruining the original plans for debut.
