What Attitude Will Get You Killed?

I can't worry about those things, if I get to work late then I'm going to be in a whole lot of trouble. If it happens, it happens. I can't worry about that now I'm already late. I've been driving for years I can hold a bottle in one hand and drive on the ice going 70. I've seen what those other stupid drivers do. It's never happened to me, I'm safe AND effiicient. The weatherman doesn't know what he's talking about, I know theres no black ice.

I do this kinda stuff all the time. I'm extreme. I'd ride my dirt-bike into this pool if I could get it on the roof. Screw it, if I don't make it I don't. But it'll be an awesome story to tell my buddys. Those guys are just pansies, they don't want me to jump because they're scared they'll have to go next. I'll show them. Yeah! They're all cheering for me! Maybe I'll jump in and do a backflip just to show them how easy this is! Yeah! Yeah! Gotta do it before I loose my nerve!

If there was any reason to worry, the car company wouldn't have given it to you. Nothing bad will happen a car is a car. You are in a hurry and don't want to argue with the lady behind the desk about the car. You don't want to admit that it may be hard for you to drive a different car. Your driving instructor in High School was stupid to expect you to walk around and inspect a car before you drive it.

I can't help it if they take too long, I don't control them. If I hurry I can still make it. I'm smart enough to talk my way in once we get there. Nothing will happen if I miss my reservation. They wouldn't dare make me wait for being late, I'm a paying customer

I can handle this, just in case he can't. I've never had problems with this sort of thing in the past with him. The quicker we get through this the better This car can take more of a beating than the manual/mechanic says it can. Whatever happens, it's up to him now.
