Benigno " Noy Noy " Cojuanco Aquino III (born February 8, 1960) is the son of Benigno Aquino Jr., a former senator and Marcos critic and Corazon Aquino, a former Philippine president. A current Senator to the 14th Congress of the Philippines, he served as former Representative of the 2nd District of the province of Tarlac to the 11th, 12th, and 13th Congress of the Philippines (1998-2007). He is a member of the Liberal Party, the banner of the political opposition. He ran for congressman in 1998 and served as Representative of the 2nd District of Tarlac until 2007. During his term, he served on numerous committees, namely: Civil, Political & Human Rights (Vice-Chairman), Public Order & Security, Transportation & Communications, Agriculture, Banks & Financial Intermediaries, Peoples’ Participation, Suffrage and Electoral Reforms, Appropriations, Natural Resources, Trade & Industry (11th Congress) Civil, Political & Human Rights, Good Government, Public Order & Security, Inter-Parliamentary Relations & Diplomacy (12th Congress) Banks & Financial Intermediaries, Energy, Export Promotion, Public Order & Safety (13th Congress) He was then elected as Senator in the 2007 midterm elections under the Genuine Opposition, a coalition comprising a number of parties, including his own Liberal Party. With more than 14.3 million votes, Aquino's tally was the sixth highest of the 37 candidates for the 12 vacant seats elected from the nation at large. He assumed his new office on June 30, 2007.

Gilberto Eduardo Gerardo "Gilbert"/"Gibô" Cojuangco-Teodoro, Jr. (born June 14, 1964) is a former Secretary of National Defense of the Philippines, having assumed the post in August 2007 and resigning last November 15, 2009. From 1998 to 2007 he was a member of the House of Representatives, representing the First District of Tarlac province. In March 2009 he announced his intention to run for President of the Philippines in the May 2010 elections. Teodoro was appointed Secretary of the Department of National Defense in August 2007 at the age of 43.

Joseph " Erap " Estrada (born Jose Marcelo Ejercito on April 19, 1937) was the 13th President of the Philippines, serving from 1998 until his ouster in the 2001 EDSA Revolution. Estrada gained popularity as a film actor, playing the lead role in over 100 films in an acting career spanning 33 years. He leveraged his popularity as an actor to make gains in politics, serving as mayor of San Juan for seventeen years, as Senator for one term, then as Vice President of the Philippines under the administration of Pres. Ramos

Manuel "Manny" Bamba Villar Jr. (born December 13, 1949) is a Filipino businessman and politician. He is currently a Philippine Senator, president of the Nacionalista Party, and a candidate for president in the 2010 presidential election.Villar was born to a poor family in Tondo, an impoverished and densely populated district of Manila. After graduating from the University of the Philippines, he worked as an accountant and financial analyst, then launched a highly successful business in real estate.Congressman of Las Pinas.

Richard Juico "Dick" Gordon (born August 5, 1945 in Castillejos, Zambales) is a Philippine senator and a 2010 Philippine presidential candidate under the Bagumbayan - Volunteers for a New Philippines. He is also the present chairman of the Philippine National Red Cross. n 1980, he was elected Mayor of Olongapo City.
