What Kind Of First-Grader Were You?

Art, no worries with that Handwriting, I couldn't wait to write in script I don't know if I had an absolute favorite then Is lunch a subject? PE, I could run around without getting in trouble Reading, I was so good at it

Free time after tests to do something quietly at my desk while others were finishing- I'd read, draw, or do homework so I wouldn't have to at home I always liked something that got me out of doing school work, like an assembly or a fieldtrip I liked getting into groups, it made it a little more fun to do the work I loved show-and-tell, I always brought something really neat I was always happy to get candy or the occasional holiday cookie or cupcake in class, who wouldn't? Playing games in class like Eraser Chase, Heads-up Seven-up, Silent Ball, etc.

I like doing the simple things like walking or running around a track- It was a good time to think. I liked everything, PE was just fun in general! I liked the parachute games, having to run across underneath the parachute without getting caught under there- Ton o' fun! I liked the real sports a lot, I always had cut-up bruised legs from playing really hard. I loved dodge ball/battle ball, it was physical and intense! Jump-roping, I knew all the songs and rhymes and I rocked at it!

I participated as much as I needed to, my teacher was satisfied. I participated! Maybe a little too much, my teacher had to tell me to keep quiet. I was pretty quiet, but I definately listened if I needed to. I was usually fiddling with something at my desk, it kept me quiet. I was usually writing, passing, or geting notes. I managed to participate enough though. Uh, I didn't. I'd get called on to read and I never knew where we were.

Ah, the mormal- jeans, collared shirt or T-shirt. I tried to do my own thing, I wanted to make i interesting. Mis-matched whatever, shoes on the wrong feet, etc. Whatever my mom put me in. Whatever was comfortable, track pants, soccer shorts, etc. Whatever was cool at the time, my mom was pretty trendy and made sure I was too!

Ah, I just grabbed any color and scribbled until it was done, I just wanted to get it out of the way I colored things they way they'd look in real life, I was lost without a flesh-colored crayon. I couldn't seem to keep it in the lines, but I enjoyed it I enjoyed it, but I liked getting done and moving on to the next thing. I liked drawing extras on the page, like drawing a kite in the sky or a fart cloud on something I traced the outside line with the color of my choice, then I'd lightly shade in the object.
