Argentina Argentina are no newbies to the cup winning it once more than England with 2 trophies in there cabinet once in 1978 and once again in 1986 allthough they just lost out to Germany 1-0 in the 1990 final although they havent won gold in the last five world cups i most definatly wont rule them out with talent like Lionel Messi,Sergio Aguero and Carlos Teves who on form has the talent to bang goals in. There deffinatly wanting the trophy this year.

Brazil Brazil have won the world cup 5 times in overall which is more times than any other country they soard through the qualifiers with a lot off goals from Luis Fabiano. they have most possibly one of the best two midfield/attacking players with KaKa at Real Madrid and the international superstar of Ronaldinho so they will be looking to bring back the cup for the 6th time.

England England have had a bad start with injurys from mid-field veteran David Beckham and Defensive whizz kid Rio Ferdinand. They have won it once in total in 1966 but with Wayne Rooney and Peter Crouch upfront and Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in midfield this could be the year for the three lions.

Netherlands The netherlands is a funny country they have allways had a stong team but havent done mush together this year is there strongest now could they shine and like spain they havent won the world cup either but will this be there first time.

South Africa This years hosts may not look as the strongest of the teams on the list but on there home grounds they could prove a deadly force as we all no the hosts of the world cup mostly allways upset fans all over like 1930 Uruguay hosted it and won 4-2 against Argentina in the final 1934 hosts Italy swooped the trophy1962 Brazil hosted it and allso won , 1966 everyone nos that was Englands time to shine as they beat West Germany in that famous game 4-2 and the list goes on so could we see an upset again

Spain Spain are this years favourates as number 1 team in the world and no wonder why with strikers like Fernando Torres and David Villa Midfield like Cesc Fabregas and Jesus Navas but the heart of the Spanish team lie in there amazing defence with Sergio Ramos and Carlos Puyol then they got superstar goalkeeper Iker Casillas behind them for added strength now this could be the first time spain as won the cup i definatly wouldnt rule them out yet.
