Although his time hasn't been long in the anime world, Light Yagami is most certainly one of the best characters to rise from it. While there have certainly been a number of intelligent, crazy characters before, none have been portrayed as so complicated or ingenious. Light becomes, and remains, a complicated guy. At once, a typical teenager bored of his lot in life, he almost instantly turns into someone who is both villainous and ambitious. And instead of going about means of taking over the w
Crazy - best word to define this guy
She's an altogether great character. She is strong and courageous. She doesn't tie anyone down and tries hard. Though she's been through some sad things, she's still strong. That's why she's a great character.
Uchica Itachi, to put it simply, is one of the most interesting villians out there. While you could say there isn't anything much in him as he appears to be emotionless killer, his actions create a series of mysteries behind his character. What is his reasoning? Is there deeper meaning behind his actions? Why did he threat Sasuke the way he did? Countless fans are drooling over the answers.
Gon is cool. He is innocent and friendly. He is determined and stubborn. He is a really great friend and prioritizes what's important. He is a role model to everyone, even if he is still kinda young.
The mysterious egocentric genius L is not someone to look down upon and think of as a normal person. On the contrary, what makes me like this character are all the little habits he has. Those may make him look like a total weirdo, but I swear this guy is a detective more clever than Colombo or even Sherlock Holmes himself. I think it is safe to say that this guy is the best detective ever.
Good ol' Tenma-chan! How can you not love her? She's incredibly innocent and naive. Also shockingly oblivious at recognizing boys' feelings for her. Tenma-chan is so incredibly charismatic that you'll fall in love with her! It is an absolute pleasure watching her in School Rumble.
Although quite a pushover, Tohru is very genuine. She never complains and she is very forgiving always being a pillar of support for those around her. And even though she is quite fragile, she knows her weakness and always aims to be a better person.
Sweet, Kind hearted & always caring about others. Her smile never fails to bring joy to anyone. Adding on, she is also very cute!
Gotta love the mysterious man who pulls the strings from the sidelines, never showing his true intentions.
Sasuke was, all along, much more than the typical "silent bad boy" of anime culture. With addictive sub plots that twist through the main story arcs, and character motives that remain hidden all along, Sasuke captured my attention, along with my fandom.
Cute character. She first appears rather quite and boring, just a support character for the overexciting Tenma. But she develops rather nicely, especially in her interactions with Harima. Her ability to read the minds of those who like her is the only real supernatural aspect of this series, making her stand out despite the lack of her apperance in the story.
A princess...but with the most unique character development. Seen as prim and proper, almost unapproachable,a true beauty that has a side that only those like Mikoto and Harima can see - yet despite her side she has a soft spot for Harima, and her evil nature combined with a surprising innocence makes her extremely popular.
Sakura is one of those characters that's really hard to forget - cute, charming, funny and a dense little but innocent girl who is impossible not to love. How many years on and she's still my favourite magical girl????????!!!!
The Great Hero of my generation. Goku is the strongest character seen in any anime. He haves an incredible amount of physical power, and an eveve greater will power. He cares a lot for his friends and family to the point of being willing to sacrifice him self for them. We get to enjoy a lot of Goku's life in the DB saga, how he is funny, a little clueless, incredibly strong, innocent, a good father, a good friend, calm person, and even if he isn't really one, he is really human.
Although not so known in the world of anime, Takamura Mamoru is an incredible character. Sure, some might say he is a stereotype - stupid, big, popular, not the 'real' main character, and insanely strong, but oh - he's in a whole diffrent class! Takamura is from a somewhat 'old' anime and manga, but you see many diffrent sides of him, you are constantly reminded that he isn't a superhero, but human. You see him laugh, cry, fight, and struggle, and guess what? So do you.
By obtaining the magical violin from a mystery elf, Hino herself can play a magical music base on her emotions that can make everyone to listen to it.
This is a power came from the Gods of ancient Japan people who posses a power like this obtain power no one could ever imagine. (such as mind manipulating, make illusions and prevent death)
OH GOD this is a great guy! He can make you laugh at one moment and then go “THAT KICKS ASS! the next. He has super speed, perfect accuracy, and the will to do anything for anyone no matter if they are good or evil, even if it costs him his body or his dignity. He is the greatest cowboy to ever live on another planet and he has the greatest goal in life ever to be thought up: LOVE AND PEACE.
Kyon is perhaps the most realistic modern-day "normal" character to emerge in anime yet. This however puts him at a disadvantage, for without Haruhi at his side, he really is just "normal." His sarcasm at what most characters would usually get overemotional or reactive towards brings a great, funny new pace to a genre we've seen before, but not quite the way Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu presented it.
Okay, anyone who watched Ouran High School Host Club would agree with me that Tamaki was a great character. Even if some viewers found him annoying or obnoxious, they would still admit that he had a loveable quality about him. The thing that really drew me to his personality was that, although he had his occasional child-like mannerisms, he also had a thoughtful perceiving side to him. Especially when helping someone, Tamaki was always the first to jump, literally, at the opportunity. Not only w
Who wants normal!?!?! We get that everyday of our lives...at least we think so, because we're so insignificant to grand spectrum of the world. Crazy antics and unquestionable motivation, Haruhi shows us that everyday normal is merely a cover story for the abnormal. Haruhi Suzumiya gets my vote as one of the characters of all time!
Her character demonstrated such a large change through the storyline. And her seiyuu's performance is nothing but the best. She and Sakai Yuji make a very good team, and I feel that she has a lot more room to expand on character development.
Son of Konoha's White Fang, Kakashi is undoubtedly one of the most skilled ninjas in the series. However, it is not just the skills that make the man. His serious, yet carefree, attitude make him one the coolest ninjas as well!
Besides being the youngest Shinigami Captain in all of Soul Society, he is fiercely protective of those that he holds dear. The fact that he is a tensai (genius) to have reached his position at his age is obvious. While he is diminutive in stature, he more than makes up for his willingness to kill all those that threaten his childhood friend (who may or may not hold a special spot in his heart). His bankai is one of the most beautiful bankai in all of Bleach, as well as the only featured ice ban
He's a very likeable character. He sees what true meanings behind plans are, and always helps the good side find it's way, only excerising his true power in times of need. He's also very humorous, easy going, and something we can all relate to. His silent personality, mixed with his dark background also gives him a plus.
This is one of my all time favorite characters because he is very strong about his beliefs, and put his duty before his feelings, which is a very rare quality. He didn't know what fear and is completely reckless if needed. He is also very intelligent and one of the pilars of soul society.
This dude is crazy!!! Not only does he fight with handicaps, but he does it saying: "BUAHAHAHAHA STAB ME MORE BUAHAHAHAHAHA" Of all the bland Bleach characters, this guy is the only one who's existence actually stood out as unique.
