You're in a rush to get to work after waking up late. The weather is bad and the radio warns of severe black ice and accidents everywhere. You decide to push your luck, speeding, driving crazy and make it to work in just the nick of time, what was your mindset choosing these actions?

I can't worry about those things, if I get to work late then I'm going to be in a whole lot of trouble. If it happens, it happens. I can't worry about that now I'm already late. I've been driving for years I can hold a bottle in one hand and drive on the ice going 70. I've seen what those other stupid drivers do. It's never happened to me, I'm safe AND effiicient. The weatherman doesn't know what he's talking about, I know theres no black ice.

There's booze and dancing and movies and after a few too may beers you decide to jump from the roof into the pool while some of your friends cheer you on! A few others try to talk you out of it while you climb up. You jump and make it into the pool safely. What were you thinking?

I do this kinda stuff all the time. I'm extreme. I'd ride my dirt-bike into this pool if I could get it on the roof. Screw it, if I don't make it I don't. But it'll be an awesome story to tell my buddys. Those guys are just pansies, they don't want me to jump because they're scared they'll have to go next. I'll show them. Yeah! They're all cheering for me! Maybe I'll jump in and do a backflip just to show them how easy this is! Yeah! Yeah! Gotta do it before I loose my nerve!

While on vacation you are given a rental car by the rental company that you aren't very comfortable with. If you are used to little cars it's a very large full ton truck with a V8 and is a stick shift. If you used to big trucks it's a tiny little smart car. You hop in and just begin driving down the freeway without getting the hang of it first, what's your reason for doing so?

If there was any reason to worry, the car company wouldn't have given it to you. Nothing bad will happen a car is a car. You are in a hurry and don't want to argue with the lady behind the desk about the car. You don't want to admit that it may be hard for you to drive a different car. Your driving instructor in High School was stupid to expect you to walk around and inspect a car before you drive it.

I can't help it if they take too long, I don't control them. If I hurry I can still make it. I'm smart enough to talk my way in once we get there. Nothing will happen if I miss my reservation. They wouldn't dare make me wait for being late, I'm a paying customer

I can handle this, just in case he can't. I've never had problems with this sort of thing in the past with him. The quicker we get through this the better This car can take more of a beating than the manual/mechanic says it can. Whatever happens, it's up to him now.
