Comment that you think you may have been here before but on a lads/lasses nite out? Say nothing and hope that the staff don't remember you! Tell them the truth and comment that you had champagne with your meal the last time!

Comment on how rough they look and that you've just landed a dream job as a pilot/TV Presenter and then leave them your business card? Introduce yourself and invite them home for a hot dinner with the promise you will try and help them? Quickly walk past them hoping they don't recognise you but drop them a tenner?

Casually pick it up and put it in your pocket then walk very quickly out of the park... woo hoo! flat screen TV here we come! Pick it up but hand it in at the nearest police station. Maybe there is a reward? Money will be gained honestly.. right? Take it home, take out a few quid then advertise it in your local paper! You found it with only that amount in!

Own up, apologise profusely and cry like a baby hoping they will forgive you? (and the dog) Say that it was your partners fault for relying on you and that you can't do 2 things at once (wait for parcels and watch dogs!) Unwrap the whole parcel, see what it is and immediately order another one online (regardless of the cost) and tell your partner it must be late delivery, then replace it

Admit that you sneezed but can't be quite sure where "it" landed? and hope your partner thinks it will be ok Just eat yours and say nothing? Isn't that what relationships are all about? Sharing everything? Tell your partner that his dinner may have had a bit of extra flavour and the reason why but only AFTER he has eaten.
