Are You An Aspie Or A Nuerotypical??

I had a few people I hung out with as a kid, but only 1 or 2 whom I was close with. I have had a lot of great friends over the years. I have rarely or never had any friends.

I have been taken advantage of on a regular basis, especially when i was a child. It has happened to me occassionally. That has never, or rarely, happened to me.

I can deal with sudden interuptions and switch between tasks fairly easily. I would prefer to focus on one thing at a time, but have learned to switch between tasks when it is necessary. When I try to switch my focus between tasks, I experience a lot of anxiety and/or have difficulty getting any of the tasks done.

I have had a variety of interests over the years. I may have focused on one or two especially, but not to the exclusion of everything else. I tend to focus on one interest at a time and learn everything I can about it. My interest is what I usually talk about with others. My interests have changed over the years, but I tend to focus on one or two at a time.

I have engaged in repetitive behaviors of one type or another. I have never engaged in repetitive behaviors that I know of. I have never intentionally harmed myself, but I do tend to fiddle with things a lot, especially when under stress.

I can usually tell what someone is thinking by reading their body language, facial expressions, and tone off voice and know when I've offended someone mosat of the time.. I have difficulty reading body language, facial expressions or tone of voice, but can often figure out when I've offended someone. I have little or no ability to read body language, social signals, and/or tone of voice. I rarely or never know when I have offended someone.

I am non-verbal, was non-verbal as a child, or had significant unexplained difficulties with speech. I followed the normal pattern of language development or, if I had speech problem, it was for a specific reason not associated with the Autistic Spectrum. I followed the normal pattern of language development, but I have been told that I have abnormal speech patterns such as tone of voice or overly formal speech.

I am not any more sensitive to sensory input than most of the other people I know. I am somewhat more sensitive to certain sensory input than others I know, but It usually does not interfere with my everyday life. There are some kinds of sensory input to which I am very sensitive, and which significantly interferes with my life.

I don't tend to get over stressed anymore often than most people around me do. I get over stressed much more easily than most people do. I have a tendancy to get over stressed a little more than most people around me do.

I can deal with changes in my routine as well as most of the people I know. I don't like changes to my routine and it takes me awhile to adjust, but i can handle it. Unexpected changes in my routine cause me to experience higher than usual levels of anxiety.
