What Is Your Holiday Song?

A break from work/school and the cold. I hate the cold. Bah humbug. A chance to make a difference and see the joy on someone's face when they open the present you've given them. An excuse to get that expensive cell phone you've had your eyes on for months! Finally! The best time of the year has come around! I've been waiting since EASTER! Lighting candles, getting a present every day for a week or two, taking part in religious ceremonies

A commercial holiday. All they want is your money. Constant commercials all the time and long lines in the store. A time to give thanks and love to everyone. Its full of cheer, and thats why you love it! Days of waiting until you can unwrap your presents and find exactly what you wanted. Not my thing. I don't celebrate Christmas. The BEST time of the whole year ever ever every EXCEPT MAYBE your birthday. Maybe

December 11th, or December 26th I don't put up decorations. Waste of money, hard to put up, harder to take down. Just not worth it. I usually break a few days before Thanksgiving... if not earlier. Whenever I can and as long as it doesn't interfere with holiday sales. Whenever I can find the time. Lights aren't everything. Christmas is about what's on the inside, right?

Eating Latkes with my family! THEY'RE SOOO GOOD! Raiding the house to find the presents I know are hidden SOMEWHERE! If I could only figure out where... Running outside as soon as it starts to snow and start praying for a white Christmas. Staying inside watching the winter olympics and trying to forget that its so cold, wet and ugly outside. Can't wait for winter to end! Volunteering at soup kitchens. It makes me feel so good to help others!
