Which A-League club will win the premiers plate for A-League 2010-2011?

Adelaide United Adelaide United had a dreadful season, finishing wooden spooners, but a certainly still a very good team. Their performances in the 2010 Asian Champions League thus far have been not far short of brilliant. Brisbane Roar Brisbane had a difficult year, finishing a dissapointing 8th despite being one of the favourites going into 09-10. Championships: - Premierships: -

Central Coast Mariners The Mariners had a dissapointing season in 09-10, finishing 8th. They have, however, been very succesful in the past, finishing grand final runners-up twice and premiers once. Championships: - (Runners-up 2005-2006; 2007-2008) Premierships: 2007-2008

Gold Coast United GCU made their A-League debut in 09-10, and had a resonably succesful year, finishing 3rd but then being upset by Newcastle in the Elimination Finals. Championships: - Premierships: -

Melbourne Heart The 2010-2011 will be Heart's first season in the league, being the newest expansion team. Ther recruitment so far has been excellent, landing one of the league's best keepers in Clint Bolton. They've also been linked to Aloisi and Viduka. This new team will certainly be a dark horse for 2010-2011.

Melbourne Victory 2nd in the regular season and runners-up in the grand final 09-10, Melbourne are Sydney FC's biggest rivals. Championships: 2006-2007; 2008-2009; (Runners-up 2009-2010) Premierships: 2006-2007; 2008-2009

Newcastle Jets The Jets finished 09-10 in 6th place, just enough to see them through to the finals, where they lost the Minor Semi-Final. Championships: 2007-2008 Premierships: -

North Queensland Fury North Queensland finished just two points off a finals spot in their first A-League season, ending up in 7th place. Championships: - Premierships: -

Perth Glory 5th in the regular 09-10 season, but knocked out on penalties in the Elimination Finals. Championships: - Premierships: -

Sydney FC Champions and Premiers for 09-10, Sydney have the best defence in the league, and have a fabulous attack as well. Championships: 2005-2006; 2009-2010 Premierships: 2009-2010

Wellington Phoenix 4th in the regular season and losers of the preliminary final, the Phoenix had a stellar year in 09-10. Championships: - Premierships: -
